RELEASE DATE

11 October 2013

The Small Earth Nepal, in collaboration with the City University of New York and Colorado State University, is conducting a research project aimed at enhancing the understanding of how climate change is impacting economies and ecosystems essential to the livelihood of livestock keepers in Nepal. The project looks into the frequency of hydro-meteorological extremes over the past few decades and water availability scenarios to gauge climate change impacts on smallholders’ livestock health and productivity in the Gandaki River Basin. The project will also develop low cost adaptation techniques. For more information, please visit: http://www.smallearth.org.np/detail.php?cid=153&id=6
